Send a deletion request

Use the button below from the email address linked to your SnapBudget AI account whenever possible. Your email app will open with the recipient, subject, and request text already prepared. Complete the blank account details and send the message.

What happens next

  1. Send the request.Include the account email, platform, and any non-sensitive account identifier available to you. Never send your password or full payment details.
  2. Verify ownership.We may reply with a limited verification request so we delete the correct account. Anonymous-account users may need to provide an account identifier visible in the app.
  3. Deletion is processed.After verification and resolution of any shared-budget ownership issue, we aim to complete the request within 30 days and send a confirmation.

Data deleted with your account

Deletion covers your SnapBudget AI authentication account and personal data associated with it, including profile information, budgets and expenses owned solely by you, budget memberships and invitations, uploaded receipt or voice files linked to your account, and app-specific usage records that identify you.

Where a shared budget contains information belonging to other members, we may first transfer ownership or remove your membership and personal identifiers so deletion does not erase another person’s records.

Limited data that may be retained

We may retain narrowly limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Restricted backup copies may remain until the relevant provider backup cycle expires. Information retained for these purposes is not used to keep your SnapBudget AI account active.

Subscriptions are separate. Deleting your SnapBudget AI account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription in your Apple or Google account before or after sending the deletion request.
